Thinning, hair lose and even bald spots certainly are not the kinds of worries that are happily welcomed. After having my own experience I searched for an answer that was boy inexpensive and non hazardous, until I finally found a solution. Castor Oil.


Two years ago, I walked into a salon asking for a few layers to frame the face, a slightly lighter hair color and maybe some side bangs. What I ended up with was a sunflower blonde 70's "shag" hairstyle with a big poof on the top of my head and thin layers at the bottom. I was horrified.

 By the second week of this awful do, I noticed my hair starting to fall out more often and even bald spots at the sides, not to mention my hair had begun to take on a very a straw-like texture.

At this point I did not know what to do. I began to read into hydrating products, maybe even oils that would give health and shine to my hair again. But nothing seemed to work like Castor Oil. After bumping into a hair stylist that seemed to noticed the condition my hair was in apart from it always being in a bun. She gave me a little remedy for my hair. She told me to buy Castor Oil, in its purest cold pressed form. Mix that with a little coconut oil and apply it to unwashed, dirty hair and just let it sit for a good 12 hours.

 I had doubts. But I had nothing to lose. So I went out to my local health food store and got just what she said. Cold-pressed Castor Oil. I placed it in a jar with 3 1/2 parts Castor and 2 table spoons of Olive Oil. 

 For me it was best when I applied it before I went to sleep and just kept it on over night. I would also cover it up with a plastic shower cap, since Castor Oil can be sticky. In the morning I rinsed out my hair, shampooed and conditioned like usual. After three weeks I noticed a huge difference. My hair was longer. It was thicker. And it began to have life again. The bright orange blonde that it used to be was slowly fading and being washed out by the oils. Either way I had found a remedy.

In addition to being a great hair restorer for your hair Castor oil is also great for your eyelashes.  
Just apply it like you would mascara with a clean mascara wand and you will notice how your eyelashes grown longer and thicker within just a few weeks . Now if you have ever over plucked your eyebrows Castor oil will also help with regrowing them back sooner.
